Alexander Mowat - Mementos (pages 1-146)

Corrected typescript of Mowat's autobiography, `Mementos' with some additional material inserted. He describes his beginnings, family etc, their time in the Falkland Islands where Mowat's father was appointed stock inspector and their further travels to England. He writes of their return, his school at Robin Hood Bay school and going to college, and his various jobs and employment before leaving school and after. He worked on various sheep stations and dairy farms in Marlborough, Mokau in Taranaki, the Wairarapa and Hawke's Bay.
