Refers to fact that the government has given its support for the Forsyth Barr Stadium. Malcolm Farry is the Chairman of the Stadium Trust. The Government has written a letter confirming that it will underwrite development of the Forsyth Barr Stadium at University Plaza as a major milestone. There is a wordplay on 'Farry' and 'fairy'.
