The notebook records Burgoyne-Thomas's visits to such places as the Karori swimming baths, the rubbish tip at Onslow Road, the Presbyterian Boys' Home, the Karitane Hospital and the Health Centre at Lower Hutt. She also visited houses with a plunket nurse. The notebook records various details of Wellington's health services in 1946.
