- Description
Shows a runner carrying the Olympic flame up the Tibetan side of Mount Everest. A man making a commentary on the event says that the Tibetan side is much softer on the runner's feet, the reason being that the way is paved with the bodies of dead Tibetans. Refers to the fact that the Chinese have closed the Tibetan side of Mount Everest to climbers it is believed because they want to carry the Olympic torch up Mount Everest in a special ceremony. However the Tibetans are also using the upcoming Beijing Olympic Games to highlight their resistance to Chinese domination and there has been a crackdown on Tibetan demonstrations by the Chinese.
