Description

Wallet of twelve concertina-folded photographs of Rotorua showing the Bath House, the Municipal Buildings, Fairy Springs, Pohutu Geyser, Boiling mud, Guide Rangi, Maori babies, entrance to Whaka[rewarewa], Ohinemutu from Hospital Hill, Poi dancers, "Tama-te-Kapua" carved house, and the entrance to the Government Grounds.

Dated 1940s, as the Municipal buildings were newly built in 1940 when the Rotorua Library moved in there. No corroborating documentation in Wises directories 1930-1950s.
