A Maori family, comprising a man and woman, with a second woman squatting, a child on her back, as seen by James Cook and crew during their visit to Dusky Sound, during Cook's second visit to New Zealand in 1773. The group is dressed in feather cloaks.
From an unknown Italian publication. One of the etchers was Angelo Biasioli, 1790-1830.
