- Description
View of the triple archway and flagpole (known as Princes Gate) at the entrance leading from Hinemaru Street to Queens Drive and to the gardens of the Government Sanatorium and Baths. On either side of the entranceway is a wooden fence made from decorated palings with carved Maori figures on the fence posts. The Tudor Towers bathhouse (built 1906-1907) can be seen in the distance behind the archway on the right. Photograph taken by William a Price, 10 Nov 1908
