Two watercolours attached to one sheet. On the left is a Central American bird with brown plumage and pale yellow on breast and underparts. The crown has a distinctive narrow circle of white and white striped pattern. The thick bill is black as are the cheeks. A black speckled stripe extends from the bill below the eye to the back of the head. The wings are brown edged with orange (on shoulder) and edged with white at lower edge. On the right is a flycatcher with dusky brown plumage.
