- Description
In two frames two men drinking in a pub discuss the $7 million plus salary package of Telecom CEO, Paul Reynolds. One of them asks the other his opinion about paying performance bonuses to the All Blacks if their winning ratio dropped 44% and the second man thinks this an outrageous suggestion. This though appears to be what has happened for Paul Reynolds. Refers to the fact that Telecom reported a 43.9 per cent fall in full year net profit to $398 million. In spite of this fall in profits, Telecom will pay chief executive, Paul Reynolds, his full performance bonus. Reynolds' total package will amount to more than $5 million - a new record for a chief executive of a New Zealand public company.
