Unidentified Maori group, three women and a young girl, alongside the entrance to Te Whai-a-te-Motu meeting house, Mataatua, photographed ca 1910, by Thomas Pringle. Shows the whatitoka (carved doorway), including the pare (lintel) and whakawae (doorjambs).

Inscriptions: Photographer's title on negative - bottom left - 1401; Album page - beneath image - Carved doorway "Te Whi-ati-motu [sic] Mataatua Uriwera [sic]
