Shows Prime Minister, Helen Clark on the phone suggesting to Santa Claus that the breakthrough at the Bali Conference might mean he will stop sinking at the poles. Santa Claus is seen in a second frame sitting on the roof of his shop while all around him the ice melts. He cheerfully wishes that he could do the same for Helen, that is, stop her sinking in the polls. Refers to to Bali Conference on global warming and also to the poor showing in the polls for the Labour Party in the run-up to the 2008 election. Play on 'pole' and 'poll'.
