Description

In a darkened space stands a smiling miner; he wears his helmet on the front of which his lamp shines and he carries his kit; behind him is a crowd of miners also with kits and lamplit helmets. Refers to the Pike River Mine disaster of the 19th November in which 29 coalminers died.
