- Description
The scene is the office of John Tamihere, Labour member for Hauraki, who is sitting holding a shotgun with which he has just shot off his foot; smoke rises from both the gun and the foot. Prime Minister, Helen Clark surveys the scene rather grimly and suggests that he take a few days off. John Tamihere is in trouble because of allegations made against him at the time he was CEO of the Waipareira Trust and also because of offensive remarks he made about his colleagues as well as the holocaust and gays.
