Description

The cartoon shows Iranian Prime Minister Ahmadinejad standing at a podium at the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York in September and declaring that in order to play its part in ridding the world of nuclear weapons Iran needs to acquire some first. Refers to Iran's nuclear program, after the recent discovery of a second uranium enrichment plant which Washington fears is a cover to build atomic weapons; if so then Iran may have to face "sanctions that bite." Tehran says its program is designed only to produce electricity.
