- Description
Caricature of Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince of Bahrain, the heir apparent of the Kingdom of Bahrain, who is deputy supreme commander of the Bahrain defence force. Prince Salman is the eldest son of the current king of Bahrain, Hamad ibn Isa Al Khalifa and his first wife Queen Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa. He received an invitation to the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, an invitation that could prove awkward in light of his government's brutal treatment of mainly Shia pro-democracy protesters. In the event the Crown Prince of Bahrain will not be attending the royal wedding on Friday, Clarence House confirmed.
