Description

Shows Invercargill City Councillor, Darren Ludlow, with a sword in his back. The sword has been wrenched from an anvil labelled 'Deputy Mayor. Refers to the race between Darren Ludlow and the current Deputy Mayor, Neil Boniface for the role of Deputy Mayor of the City. While Ludlow won the highest number of votes of any councillor, Mayor Tim Shadbolt prefers to retain the status quo and have Boniface continue as his deputy.
