Description

Two decorated or gourds (calabashes) or koraha used by Maori for water carriage. Below them are silhouettes of two men, copied from Australian Aboriginal rock drawings. One figure has the annotation '6 ft' below it, and 'legs too long and feet too large' to one side; this figure is standing with legs astride and arms out wide. The second figure to the right has arms upraised and a more animal-shaped head than the first.
