- Description
In four scenes a man is granted a wish by a genie. When the man wishes for lower interest rates the genie grants his wish but tells him it will result in his losing his job. The man then wishes for his job back with a raise and when the genie grants this wish he reminds the man that the result will be higher interest rates again. The man in despair wishes that he didn't have to choose between the two and the genie disappears with a 'POOF!'. Refers to high interest rates in the current New Zealand economy.
