Description

Jaimee tells Debbie about the 'Cartooning for Peace' event that is on in Wellington. When Debbie realises that there will be lots of cartoonists in the capital she yells out an alert to the wine bars and the brothels. Refers to the Cartooning for Peace Symposium which took place in Wellington in the week of the 10th to the 14th of November 2008. There was an exhibition of cartoons by cartoonists from many countries in the Michael Fowler Centre. Cartooning for Peace is a movement originated by the famous French cartoonist Plantu (Jean Plantureux).
