Harcourt's Buildings on the corner of Panama Street and Lambton Quay, Wellington, showing signs for the business of Harcourt & Co and the shop windows of The Grand Hosiery Box. The business of Preston & Thompson is on the left in Panama Street, and is next door to the building of the New Zealand Free Lance magazine. Hamilton Chambers and the T & G Building are on Lambton Quay on the right. A corner of the DIC building is on the left. Photograph taken by William Hall Raine circa 1930s.
Hamilton Chambers was built 1929-1930. The architect was F D Stewart.
