Description

The cartoon shows Hone Harawira, Maori Party MP, looking anxious as he realises that he just about succeeded in chopping down the Maori Party flag with the axe in his hand. Refers to the unofficial sidetrip taken by Harawira and his wife to Paris while in Europe at tax-payers' expense. Hone Harawira was widely criticised for this as well as his use of foul language and strong anti-Pakeha comments in an email. The Maori Party has been deciding whether to expel him or not.
