"Stay covered and don't stand out in a crowd they said!" 30 January 2010

- Description
The cartoon shows four members of New Zealand's crack SAS fighting force wearing crazy masks - a pig, a clown etc. One of them says they have been told to stay covered and not stand out in a crowd. Refers to the photograph of Willie Apiata in Afghanistan that was published by the Herald. It was considered that the publication of the photo could put Willie Apiata in danger; it certainly got a lot of attention from delighted females! Willie Apiata received the Vicoria Cross for bravery and is a member of the elite SAS troops in Afghanistan.
