Papers related to the construction of the house 'Woodlands' at 45 Chatsworth Road, Silverstream, designed by James Walter Chapman-Taylor. Comprises rough lists of cost estimates for materials and labour, a tender submitted by H Wilson and dated 25 July 1945 showing annotations made in September 1945 by Chapman-Taylor, progress payment notes, an invoice, the building permit, a mortage document, and inwards correspondence regarding the building permit application, window sashes, perfectile concrete tiled roof, and the mortgage. Includes a photocopy.
Also includes a specification and contract document in a card folder bound with brass pins. Signed by 'H. Wilson builder' and 'JW Chapman-Taylor'. Each page is also initalled by them.
One list of costs bears a postage stamp.
