"Congratulations, Prime Minister, just got a message in a bottle. NZ is the first country in the world to achieve carbon neutrality..." 7 May, 2008

- Description
Shows Prime Minister Helen Clark dressed in a tunic and with soft leather tied to her feet. She is ploughing a field with two oxen and a hand-held plough. A man dressed similarly rushes up with a message that has come in a bottle and which proclaims New Zealand the first country to have achieved carbon neutrality. The implication is that carbon neutrality can be achieved only by returning to a life like that lived in the Dark Ages that has none of the modern sources of energy we currently appreciate. The government faces the dilemma of lessening carbon emissions but also achieving economic growth.
