A British Beefeater reads aloud a proclamation to Television breakfast show presenter Paul Henry that 'in accord with the convention that any attack on her deputy is an attack on her...' A huge executioner carrying a wooden block and an axe stands grimly by. (The queen's deputy is Governor-General Sir Anand Satyanand). Evans little commentator shouts 'Off with his tongue!' Refers to an incident when Television show host Paul Henry asked PM John Key in an interview referring to Governor-General Sir Anand Satyanand's successor - "Are you going to choose a New Zealander who looks and sounds like a New Zealander this time ... Are we going to go for someone who is more like a New Zealander this time?" This has created a furore - Paul Henry has apologized but Race Relations Commissioner Joris de Bres said last night that the apology was not good enough, and should be aimed at all New Zealanders. The question had to be asked whether TVNZ was using Henry "as a shock jock and whether that is appropriate for a national state television current affairs programme". (NZ Herald 7 October 2010)
