Description

A hopeful man stands beside a sign advertising for a 'young unattached female to share Air New Zealand skycouch'. Refers to a new design for coach seating that turns three seats on a Boeing 777 into a "sky couch", letting couples snuggle, kids jump around or single travelers spread out. The seats, designed by the airline and built by manufacturer Recaro, have large flip-up cushions that fill the space between the end of the seat and the next row of seats. Arm rests retract and you have a flat surface. Seat-belt extenders enable passengers to be buckled in when prone.
