Description

Shows farm buildings and the farmhouse of the Waikaraka Station. There is a range of hills in the background. Notes on the back identify, from left 'Stock yard, cow shed and wood shed', 'Lutomus (?) house' (a neighbouring house); 'Poultry house'; 'The House'; 'Shepherds house and kitchen'; 'Dairy & horse'; 'Water'; 'Tent'. Another note states 'The distant hills are thickly wooded - but in at the back of them is a fine open country - The land all round the House is open & fertile - the bush being but a narrow belt about a mile long, following windings of a nice creek of good water.'
