Shows a central oval inset of "Sir Modred", winner of the Dunedin Cup in 1881. Other illustrations around the border show: a bookmaker being caught out by Mr Walker; police and officials clearing the course; scene of the late accident at Kensington Crossing; card tricksters; the totalisator.
