A 'GOOD EVANS' cartoon. Shows three men sitting in the staff cafeteria at smoko time. One of them reads a newspaper with a heading 'Fish & Forests feature in Treaty payouts'. He exclaims over the wonderful names 'Sealord' and 'Tree Lord' and wonders 'What next?' His mate says 'Me Lord'. Refers to the treelords deal treaty which minister Michael Cullen says is worth nearly half a billion dollars and covers 100,000 members. The deal is a lucrative one for the seven iwi of the Central North Island collective or CNI as they have come to be known.
