Description

The cartoon shows a rather basic kitchen in a house set in an arid desert scene. An Australian clutching a can of beer while flies circle round the corks on his hat accepts a pan of sausages that his wife offers him while they listen to the news on the radio. The radio report says that the New Zealand Prime Minister (John Key) claims that kiwis will catch up with Oz to which the wife comments that 'He's dreaming'. Refers to the PM's intention to catch up economically with Australia by 2025.
