Shows a caricature of Robert Gates, American Secretary of Defence. He is shown holding a map of Afghanistan with a huge target in the centre. Gates is the Republican Pentagon chief, who kept his cabinet post under new President Barack Obama, made it clear in testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee that the new Democratic administration has "realistic and limited" expectations in Afghanistan.
