Description

The 'Underzone' strip. Shows a huge aggressive-looking panda named 'China' and growling 'RRRRR'! It is playing with five interlinking rings which symbolize the Olympic Games which are to be held in Beijing later in 2008. On the ground nearby lies a Tibetan man, possibly a monk, named 'Human Rights'. He is badly injured and his clothes are torn. He says 'So much for cute'n cuddly'. Refers to China's aggressive pitch against Tibetan demonstrations for independence and the fact that the Olympic Games provide a forum for highlighting human rights abuses in China.
