- Description
Shows National Party leader Don Brash stole a ladder labelled "Race" from underneath John Tamihere, who yelled out "Stop thief!" as he is falling. Cartoon refers to the increasing importance of race as a political issue. It points to the fact that New Zealand First is the first to raise the issue of racial separatism and heightened its importance, but National Party's leader Don Brash adopted the issue to increase the Party's popularity.
