Description

A non-Arab sits at a table in an Arab cafe with a group of Arab men and cheerfully asks for coffee and a danish. The waiter almost falls over backwards with horror and everyone else looks grim. The man is holding a newspaper which has headlines reading 'Cartoon row gets worse'. The reference is to the current row about the publication of twelve cartoons depicting Muhammad drawn by different Danish cartoonists. The cartoon also references the work of early 20th century British humourist, H M Bateman, who created a series of 'The man who...' cartoons, depicting social gaffes.
