Arrangment of text, with inset photographs showing the Shipway Twins balancing act, and Lance Skuthorpe riding "Thunderbolt" at Madison Square Gardens, N.Y. Circular inset near the top shows a montage of circus scenes, with a clown and ruffed dog, the entrance to the rodeo big top tent, trapeze artists. Listed as acts are: The Famous Muldoon in dare devil circus acts, Christiano world's greatest tight-rope performer, the Shipway Twins, Lorraine and Albert on a bouncing trampoline, 35 of the world's best buckjumpers with "Mercury Bay" N.Z. champion buckjumper, 20 of Australia's best rough riders including Dan Baldwin N.Z. champion. Twenty pounds stirling is offered to any rider who can ride the mighty "Aristocrat" for 15 seconds.
The Lance Skuthorpe shown here is likely to be Lance Skuthorpe jnr, known to have been a champion rider like his father. He was the son of the second wife of Lance Skuthorpe (1870-1958).
