A road circling a hill, with two dogs fighting, a black man and woman talking (the woman with an enormous round bundle on her head) two other men talking and another woman carrying a large bundle on her head, houses, gardens and the peaks of two mountains in the background. The peak on the right appears to be Corcovado
Related drawings are in the National Library of Australia, including one pencil drawing by Angas titled 'Aquaduct, Rio Janeiro' also including Corcovado in the background and taken from a more distant standpoint
