Deputy leader of the Labour Party, Michael Cullen, is reading a comment in the newspaper to the effect that most National Party supporters prefer John Key to Don Brash, the incumbent leader. Prime Minister, Helen Clark, is making an anonymous phone call to Don Brash, and talking through a handkerchief to disguise her voice, advises him to hang in there and not allow John Key to rob him of his date with destiny. Refers to the notion that Don Brash is less likely to make a successful bid for the next election than John Key.
