Description

Shows a man who has been hit in the head with an axe screaming on the telephone. Behind him on a tables is a newspaper with the headline "It helps police if you scream when ringing 111 - Police Commissioner". The emergency response service run by the New Zealand Police was called into serious question after they had sent a taxi to the wrong location in response to a 111 call from Iraena Asher, a young woman in distress, at Piha, in early October 2004. Asher went missing and has never been found.
