Shows a small outrigger canoe being pushed from the shore in the foreground, another boat behind it. Coconut palms fringe the shore, with steep volcanic mountains in the background. A few small dwellings are visible at the shoreline. Identified by J.C. Beaglehole as Moorea; also called Tareu or Taloo Harbour.
Eimeo was the ancient name for Moorea, north of Tahiti
