We voted for Judith'. Context - Judith Tizard is next on the party list and is the first cab off the rank to replace Darren Hughes, who handed in his formal resignation from Parliament April 5 after being accused of sexual misconduct. Ms Tizard said Labour leader Phil Goff had not asked her to stand aside but had sounded like he was "chewing dead rats" when he told her she would be welcome if she decided to return. Labour Party president Andrew Little had called for Ms Tizard and four other candidates on Labour's list to stand aside for rising star Louisa Wall.
