Shows a schooner (or possibly a brig) with sails furled, flag at stern; possibly the Elizabeth.
The suggestion that the ship may be the schooner Elizabeth is based on its similarity to the image of the Elizabeth in Heaphy's Wellington watercolour Thorndon flat April 1841 (C-025-010).
A researcher has identified this as brig, possibly the government brig, Victoria, because of the apparent white ensign on the stern September 2022
