In two frames Prime Minister, Helen Clark and Leader of the Opposition, John Key, are each making a speech in parliament. In the first frame Michael Cullen, Deputy Prime Minister, who sits beside Helen Clark, wishes that she had 'some of the delicate lyricism' of Barack Obama and in the second frame the National Party's deputy, Bill English, who sits beside John Key, wishes that he had a little more of 'Hillary's rugged masculinity'. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are running neck and neck as Democratic candidates in the 2008 American Presidential elections.
