Refers to the fact that personal debt in New Zealand is at its highest in seven years. 'Where the Wild Things Are' is a children's story by Maurice Sendak which has been made into a film. The theme is that of a boy who enters a fantasy world of 'wild things' where he is able to work through his anger and frustration and return home happy and in time for tea.
