Description

The violin section of the orchestra is playing an exquisite new piece by a composer named 'Costa Student Loans.' The players are Prime Minister, Helen Clark, Minister of Finance, Michael Cullen, and Minister of Education, Trevor Mallard. From the expressions on their faces one gets the impression that the music is not all that harmonious. Reference to the difficulties that Labour experienced recently when it seemed that Michael Cullen had not been completely forthright in his explanation of the cost of student loans under the new Labour policy that promises to wipe student loan interest.
