- Description
Shows a man and a woman walking along a street in Havana. The man says to the woman that it is a shame they cannot afford to buy Fidel a retirement present. Refers to Fidel Castro's retirement as Cuba's leader in February, 2008. His successor is likely to be his younger brother Raul Castro who is 76 and who has provisionally held power since his brother fell ill in July 2006. Fidel Castro came to power 49 years ago in 1959. The inability to buy a present is a reference to Cuba's dire economic situation which has been brought about partly by a trade embargo by the United States.
