Description

Shows leader of ACT, Rodney Hide, holding a huge can opener that he has used to open an enormous can of worms. Rodney Hide wears a jacket with 'Hide' printed on it. On the can are the words 'Whatties?' and 'Funding declaration'. Refers to Rodney Hide's attacks on New Zealand First leader Winston Peters, accusing him of accepting funding that he did not declare. Rodney Hide was dobbed in by his own party for wearing his famous yellow jacket that was embroidered with 'ACT' without declaring who was responsible for the advertising. The dobbing in was a deliberate ploy to highlight the problems of the Electoral Finance Act.
