Description

Shows a policeman pasting up a 'speed kills' poster onto the wall in a maternity hospital. Two staff stare curiously from the reception area and a nurse pushes a woman who holds a new baby towards the exit. Refers to the decision by the Wellington regional Health Board that women who were not first time mothers should be encouraged to leave the hospital within 6 hours with a voucher. This attempt to deal with space and staffing shortages was short-lived as the public outcry caused the decision to be overturned.
