Compare Hoyte's watercolour dated 1869 [Auckland Harbour from Judges Bay], reference number C-052-005. The latter is very similar but taken from slightly further round and does not include St Stephen's Chapel. Both views are taken from the area of the modern Parnell Rose Garden
