Shows Cashel Street, Christchurch looking east. First building on the left is the Christchurch Press Co., also Whitcombe & Tombs and Cafe de Paris. On the right is the Canterbury Foundry and Argyle House is farther down. Outside Canterbury Foundry is a horse and trap with two women and on the opposite side, outside Press House is a cart.
