Description

A programme for a concert, probably on board the ship "Tarawera" in Preservation Inlet. Performers included an orchestra, Mr E Packer (singer), Mr J Jago (singer), Mr Barth (piano), Mr Jesse Timson (piano) and W Ibbotson, Mr A F Anthony (singer), Mr C H Humphries (singer), Mr H J Williams (violin), Mr T McConnell (cornet). Accompanist and musical director was Mr Jesse Timson.

Web search reveals that Mr A F Anthony was a crew member on board the Tarawera in 1887. It is likely that most of the performers were crew members.
